I’m delighted you’re considering a wedding painting or bespoke wedding portrait for your celebration. This page explains how to book, what to expect, and how I work alongside your other suppliers to keep everything running smoothly.
To begin, simply reach out with your wedding date, venue location, and preferred service (studio portrait,from live photos or post wedding photos). I’ll confirm availability, pricing options, and next steps.
How Booking Works
Step-by-Step Booking Process
- Initial Enquiry
Email or call with your wedding date, venue, approximate guest count, and whether you’re interested in a painting from live photos and sketches, a studio portrait, or both. - Availability & Quote
I’ll confirm availability for your date, discuss your vision, and outline recommended options and pricing. - 25% Deposit to Secure Your Date
A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due shortly before the event (I’ll confirm exact timing in your agreement). - Pre-Event Planning
We’ll agree on the key moment you’d like captured (vows, first dance, reception scene, etc.), plus any special details, colour palette preferences, or dress/flower references. - Final Confirmation
As your date approaches, I’ll reconfirm timings, venue access, and any logistical details with you or your planner.
Travel & Coverage
- Base: Chester, United Kingdom.
- No-charge radius: Approx. 30 miles from Chester.
- Beyond 30 miles: Minimal travel surcharge, clearly agreed in advance.
- Wider UK & destinations: I’m happy to discuss travel for UK-wide and selected destination weddings.
Can you confirm the travel cost before we book?
Yes. Once I have your venue location, I’ll confirm any travel surcharge up front so there are no surprises.
On the Day of Your Wedding
Arrival & Set-Up
On your wedding day, I typically arrive before the key moment we’re capturing. This allows time to:
- make sketches and take photos of you and the background.
- Get a feel for the light, atmosphere, and layout of your venue.
Capturing the Key Moments
I will:
- Coordinate with your photographer and videographer to ensure I don’t disrupt their shots or block any important angles.
I gather everything we need to create your masterpiece, ensuring your painting is finished to a museum-quality standard before delivery.
